Press-Statement



We democratic Nepalese, currently living in Europe are badly astonished and shocked on the step of the annihilator of his own brother’s succession, the tyrant king Gyanendra’s hypocritical evil attempt to push the country backwards into the medieval monarchy barbarism through military coup on 1st February 2005 where it was the very time to solve the existing contradictions from centuries back along with the strong demand of all Nepalese including various political parties, civic society and wakened class to check the formidable civil war through the peaceful and democratic method of election for the Constituent Assembly.

We strongly condemn and oppose the excessive anti-democratic step of fascist military ruler Gyanendra for his proclamation of state of emergency with curfew deploying his uncontrolled tyrannical military all over the country shaping it as a human-slaughter-house blocking the whole transport and communication system of the country and arresting and conducting home arrest of the leaders and activists of the different political parties and journalists smashing the limited rights acquired from the popular people’s movement in 1990 which is against the desire of the people-the real deciding power of 21st century.

We heartily request to whole internal and external democratic powers to be united for the powerful struggle against the felonious medieval inhuman monarchy, the obstacle of the peoples’ democratic advancement which has imprisoned the whole country and its people in contrary to the existing few constitutional monarchies approved by the people in developed tradition of the present world.

In order to discharge the military coup about to thrash the Nepalese society backwards, in order to release the arrested party leaders and activists immediately, in order to settle the freedom and fundamental rights of the Nepalese people, in order to arrange the all political parties’ conference to hand over the sovereignty back to the people through the democratic way we heartily appeal to European Union, Democratic Nations from Europe and the rest from the world, United Nations Organization including other donor agencies and organizations who are regularly assisting Nepal to stop the financial and other helps immediately to create all-round pressure to the fascist feudal king.


Finally, we request to all individual Nepalese, different organizations and associations for heartily co-operation to different democratic and human right organizations to strengthen the understanding in this serious situation. We further request to all to arrange the different types of movements and struggles and to be widely participated in all types of reasonable programms and movements organized by any organization or group.
