A group of 25 Democratic and Green party voters and members of People for Peace and Justice of Utah gathered Thursday, October 28 at Salt lake City's federal building on the corner of 100 South and State Streets to protest against George W. Bush's candidacy for president and the Bush administration's corruption and perpetual war policy. Participant's chanted "Don't vote for Mr. Nasty," "Don't return a war criminal to the White House," "Bush is a liar," "Bush is immoral," "Bush broke the law," "No to Bush's wars," "Get a clue America" and the like.

One protester, who preferred not to be mentioned by name, indicated that the signs and chants used in the protest speak for themselves. Other demonstrators agreed.

Signs other than those pictured below included: "Stop Bush's attacks against our civil liberties," "Indict Bush," "Dump Bush," "Bush undermines human rights laws," "Militarism out of control in the U.S.A.," "Look into Bush's many scandals," "Bush-Wanted for killing children," "Bush-Wanted for breaking international law," "Bush-Wanted for lying to the world," "W. Bush is a proven liar," "Bush mocks the rule-of-law at home and abroad," "Bush's protection rhetoric is a cruel neocon joke," "Bush-Wanted for killing children," "Bush-Wanted for killing thousands of innocent Iraqis," "U.S.A. regime change in 2004," and "Defeat Bush again in 2004."
