Nadat ik dit gelezen heb,

"The WMD issue was not the only one on Americans’ minds when they thought about the decision to go to war in early 2003. A question at the end of the section, asked 10 times by CBS News between March 1991 and February 2001, shows that between 63 and 75 percent believed that the United States should have continued fighting Iraq until Saddam Hussein was removed from power. vraag ik me af of de video van Amnesty International niet meer een pro-bezetters video is.

Kan me goed voorstellen dat deze video bv. op scholen getoond wordt en dat men dan het optreden tegen Irak zal goedkeuren. "Ook al vonden ze geen wapens, Saddam was ne slechten."

Het AEI, waaruit ik een gedeelte kopieerde, is het American Enterprise Institute, de denktank die veel invloed heeft op de Bush-administratie.

Onlangs kon men nog lezen in Diogene(s) dat de term "militair-industrieel-complex" bijna nooit ergens vermeld wordt.
