Wat we ook niet lezen in de Belgische media.

"The Bush administration has reacted angrily to the complaint. A senior administration official warned that "there will be diplomatic consequences for Belgium" if the complaint is taken up by a court there and Belgian authorities issue indictments against Gen. Franks and other U.S. officials."

"The administration official said the complaint highlights U.S. concerns that laws regarding war crimes and institutions such as the International Criminal Court (ICC) can be used to initiate politically motivated prosecutions against American officials."

Enkele weken geleden werd de genocide-wet afgezwakt, met een meerderwisselheid met het Vlaams Blok, onder druk van de Amerikaanse en Isarëlische regering. Dit stond in Le Monde, die het hadden uit de mond van diplomaten. Amerika zou gedreigd hebben om de NAVO uit Brussel weg te halen en de haven van Antwerpen niet meer te gebruiken voor handel.

Gaat men deze klacht nu doodzwijgen en onontvankelijk verklaren, onder druk van de Bush-junta?

Quand on lit plus loin dans cet article:

On se demande sur quelle planète vit cet homme de paille (Stroobants ou qque chose comme ca): S'il y avait de "asharonement", il s'agit bien des avocats belges, soi-disant "anti-racistes" et de quelques politiciens belges véreux qui ont mis une priorité sur Israel avec des "senond thoughts" qui n'ont échappé à personne!

Door het verlenen van een interview aan de Washington Post bracht de advocaat die pleit tegen Tommy Franks de zaak over het water in de VS. Wakkergeschoten gaven de yankees onmiddellijk te kennen dat gerechtigheid hen niet echt zinde. Ze waarschuwden België dat het feit alleen al om een dossier op te starten tegen Franks diplomatieke gevolgen zou hebben tot zelfs mogelijke sancties (dergelijke attitudes kenden we echter al vanuit dezelfde hoek nl. Sharon). Dus toch een gevoelige snaar van de bevrijders van het Midden Oosten.
