How dirty is this war?

A France based Moroccan activists that managed to get to Bagdad last week is stuck in Syria, he cannot get into Jordan to take his plane back home.

A strage thing happened on the way to the Amman airport.

About four weeks ago he left France with a return ticket to Amman airport. He tried to get to Iraq from Jordan for over a week, he even asked the Moroccan consul to help him, but to no avail. When he realised that wouldn't work he went to Syria to try from there. He finally arrived in bagdad on Sunday, March 23rd, with a small group of other people.

When they were on their way to Bagdad they were stopped by a group of US soldiers near the Jordanian border. Those soldiers were fluent in Arabic, he suspects them to be Israeli.

He got out of iraq on Thursday, March 27th. He is now stuck in Syria, because Jordan forbids all persons that have been to Iraq to enter Jordanian territory, thus supporting the US war effort by making life very difficult for peace activists.
