Just got a phonecall from Brussels. ( I continue in Dutch; sorry for the frenchspeaking) De politie heeft 3 waterkannonnen ingezet en traangas gesproeid maar het mocht niet baten, de betogers lieten zich niet verjagen. De betoging werd steeds militanter en de groep die aan de ambassade stond was heel bos. Ze riepen voortdurend : "Fermez l'ambassade de terroristes!!", waarmee ze dus willen zeggen dat de Amerikaanse diplomaten het land moeten worden uitgezet.

The protest has just arrived at the US Embassy. The crowd is very angry. There are 2 rows of "barricades with razor wire on it" with cops in between. The intention was to pass by the Embassy but more than hundred people stayed there. The people who are organising this are allready walking further to the end of the manifestation. There would be ten thousands of people. The atmosphere is great. There are a lot of Palestinian, Iraqi and Che Guevara-flags. People are chanting slogans supporting the Palestinian and Iraqi people.

The protest in Brussels has just started. There's a lot of people. "Stop USA" and "Geen Oorlog" are stepping in front of the protest. There are a lot of Iraqi Flags. The intention is to go to the US Embassy via the " kleine ring - petit ring ".

a la fin de manif, les keufs ont coupé le monde en 3 groupes
un vers trone, un rue belliard et un devant l'ambassade
bcp de flics en civil a l'allure de skinheads...
ils ont filtré, controlé chaque personne (au faciés vraisemblablement)
rue belliard ils ont chargé a toute vitesse avec 2 auto pompes...
grosse panique..
un ptit groupe de 25 personnes a continué vers le parlement europeen (19h10)..
puis....
