A legal way to sidestep the Security Council altogether has popped up. If this war would be voted over in the general assembly of UN, there is no way it will go through. Some country needs to propose this for the UN general assembly -- perhaps Belgium??!!!

UN resolution 377 - a legal alternative to war
As the United States are bribing their way through the UN Security council in their relentless struggle to invade Iraq, a legal way to sidestep the Security Council altogether has popped up. If this war would be voted over in the general assembly of UN, there is no way it will go through.

And if someone contacted their local politician and pushed this person into taking this idea further up in the system, who knows where this could end up? Time is short and this idea might actually work.
There are mechanisms in the UN system designed to handle this type of situation. Resolution 377 has been used successfully ten times since 1950. This would sidestep the very dangerous situation brewing up not only in Iraq, but in the UN too. Time to see it in use.
