The USA are seen as a (much) bigger danger than Iraq and North Korea !

It's more than 60% now, but these numbers actually have no scientific value whatsoever. Probably most people don't care all that much, a small group is pro whilst another small group is anti. But this is the loud minority which votes most on these polls so you might get a wrong impression.

Why would the loud minority (people who are for and other who are against) not be representative of the silent majority ? Polls evaluating the US population's support for their president are based on samples not larger than one thousand people. Ok, a agree that the above poll is nothing else than an evaluation of what the readers of the Time (and only those who have access to the Net) think, but I doubt that that can explain such a huge % against USA. I am much more concerned about the fact that we have no control on the poll server, what The Time has. But, in this case, I wonder wether it makes the point because The Time has not a reputation of being very anti-US.
