Tony Blair wants to commit us to a horrific war. An attack on Iraq will kill thousands of innocent people, devastate a country already reeling from sanctions and bombing, and further destabilise the Middle East.

Bush's oil and war faction admit this isn't really about Saddam's weapons. They want "regime change". But it will be the ordinary people of Iraq that suffer from the attack, not Saddam.

Polls show the majority of British people are against Bush and Blair's war drive. Ten trade unions, church leaders, Muslim groups, leading journalists, over 150 MPs are saying, "Don't attack Iraq".

The Stop the War Coalition urges everyone to demonstrate on 28 September, but also to spread the word. Tell your workmates, friends and neighbours, leaflet your street, publicise the demonstration in your trade union, church or tenants group, and get in touch with your local Stop the War Coalition group.

An enormous demonstration on 28 September can make Tony Blair think again.

Please note that the route of the march has been changed because Trafalgar Square is partly closed. It will now go from the Embankment to Hyde Park. The march will assemble at 1pm, as previously advertised.

«Don't attack Iraq. Free Palestine», dat is het thema van de grote betoging in Londen, op 28 september. Een unieke ervaring voor al wie wil bijdragen tot het uitbreiden van de beweging tegen de oorlog in Europa.

De Jongerenbeweging van de PVDA legt een bus in naar de betoging in Londen. Ga mee!

De bus vertrekt om 6u30 aan het Noordstation in Brussel (Eurolines) en komt in Londen toe om 12u. Na de betoging is er een avondmeeting. Er zijn gratis logies voorzien! Je moet wel eten meebrengen of ter plaatse kopen. De bus vertrekt de zondag om 15u in Londen en komt in Brussel toe om 23u. De trip kost 63 euro (heen en terug) voor wie jonger is dan 26 en 70 euro voor de anderen.

Wie wil meegaan, moet inschrijven voor maandag 23 september via mail naar dokuspokus@hotmail.com Zet er je naam, voornaam, nr. van je identiteitskaart en geboortedatum bij. Het aantal plaatsen is beperkt, dus we moeten ons aan de inschrijvingsdatum houden.

Le bus partira à 6h30 de la Gare du Nord à Bruxelles (Eurolines) et arrivera à 12h à Londres. Après la manifestation, un meeting le soir, il repartira le lendemain à 15h de Londres pour arriver à 23h à Bruxelles. Coût du transport: 63 euros (aller-retour) pour les moins de 26 ans, 70 euros pour les « vieux » (plus de 26 ans).

Le logement est gratuit mais vous devez prendre avec vous la nourriture ou l'acheter sur place.
