The main Belgian telecommunications company is closing down at least six of its call centers. Operators will have to spend to 8 hours more a week to travel to their new ; greater unities...the plan do to this is beiing pushed with the collaboration of the unions.

In six years time the number of calls an operator took rose from 350 to double and even more. Still shareholders and their collaborators are not satisfied. They want greater unities with less and cheaper operators. At the end of this
complicated proces only the workers with a contract who have proven their loyalty to the system will be kept...before within some time they will replace them by the voicecomputer...(the computer understands the information the customer wants) IN the mean time on all levels workers with different statuts will have fought only for their position. The only one winning is the capitalist
The customer will pay more for his phone ; the worker will get stressed or sacked or put on pension. In the end they wonder about the recession they themselves (the shareholders) provoke. At the moment we are giving some more information about this struggle which is happing in all of Europe as our Italian friends tell us.
If you want to know how the sadist system that we allow to exploit us works...let me know. We cannot use our name or the name of the company or we will be out of a job and statute within a week. They already don't like our face and the questions I ask them any way
