At 4:00 o'clock in the morning of Monday the 7th of May, a man known to be a far-right sympathizer walked into the house of a Moroccan family in the Brussels suburb of Schaerbeek and opened fire against all its members killing the mother and the father and wounding two of the children.

After his crime the man set the house on fire before being killed in a shoot-out with the police. Witnesses who know the man, declared to the press that he did not hide his violent intentions and that he was clearly saying after the defeat of Le Pen in the French elections on Sunday that it is now time to "take the weapons and solve the problem by killing them all" referring to immigrants.
The AEL is very alarmed by this tragic event and is worried that this might trigger a cycle of violence in Belgium that will be devastating to everybody. It is clear to us that the hatred propagated by the far-right parties in Europe against people of other race or culture, are pure incitement to violence. Portraying a group of the population as the origin of all evils and problems in society is the first step towards physically eliminating that group, this is a lesson taught the hard way by European history.
The AEL have reasons to believe that the situation in Belgium is the worse in Europe and that more violence might occur in the coming weeks. With a police force that is in some cities (like Antwerp for instance) strongly infiltrated by far-right sympathizers, immigrants can not count on the police to protect them. Reports of a late reaction of the police during the shoot out in Brussels can only add to this assessment. The feeling of insecurity among immigrants is rising.
The AEL calls upon the international community and the Arab League to intervene and put pressure on the Belgian government to recognize the racist problem in this country and to deal with it as a priority. The rights of immigrants were till this day violated on all possible levels and now even their right to life is no more guaranteed.
The AEL warns anybody who thinks that violence is the answer to social problems, that violence can only lead to more violence and that every action has a reaction. The Arab and Muslim community in this country will not stand and watch its children and families being assassinated by white-trash genocidal maniacs under the indifferent eye of the political class. We have always been a law obedient community and we still are, but we will never give up our right to self-defense.

what has happened in brussels is fucking garbage, and i think that it's about time to stop dickin around and standing idoly by well people are being killed.what are these killers and anyone else who agrees with the extremist right point of view thinking,has this what life has become.i really pray to the unreligous god that all of this shit is stoped and people can remember why their living.
