some things struck me as a little off though :
i wonder how much the hamburger and beer vendors along the itinerary made on all those people marching against capitalism ( i noticed that they did very good business at spectacular prices )
after the attack on the (long abandonned) police station and the mercedes parked in front of it (i still wonder if that wasn't bait) on the Quai des Usines, more cars were damaged on the Allée Verte. i happen to live in this neighborhood since 1989, populated mainly with the poorer belgians and migrant families. some of those people, very often moroccan and turkish, tend to work hard and buy second-hand german cars to make the long annual trip to the homeland. i wonder why these people had to be come victims of the aggression of a minuscule minority of the demonstrators with shit for brains.
