Hello from Oregon, where the flag of peace flies high.
What a pleasure it was to see the news of your massive protests in the name of Peace! Here in Oregon, activists have united against "America's New War", and the Peace Flag waves high above our state. On December 15, we held a statewide meeting to coordinate our strategies to end the war. 2002 will be a big year for us: our 2nd Peace Festival will be held on February 2nd, coinciding with a visit from Winona LaDuke, and there are also plans for a march in the making.
