11:00 and we started to walk. as usual lots of voices, lots of music, lots of energy. after a loop up and around Laeken we arrived at Tour et Taxi where party and pro-participation continued.

Cops arrived in the early afternoon and within half an hour and blocked off every street around Tour et Taxi: full riot gear, water cannons, they were there as if there were a battle.

they pushed the people back and a line formed parallel to the police- now they'll talk about another violent protest, but again there was no violence until the police showed up

A real police provocation@T&T.
A peacefull fire,
(it was freezing cold out there)
was enough to make a charge with the water canon!

From than on people became provocated, and began throwing with everything they find.

And than police began attacking people inside the T&T area with their watercanon...people who where just curious to see what was going on....that was really an act of police terror

In their official statements police tells that they our still looking for the vandals who did the riots to bank-buildings

A policeman told me that the peacefull manifestation was yesterday...today it was a violent one, he said...so we where all criminals in his eyes...

The feeling and atmosphere where really scarry: cops everywhere...with the message: stay @ home next time,
otherwise we treat you as criminals.

The use of the watercanon by the police against the people inside T&T near the entrance, dancing on regae music or curious about what was going on, was indeed a very big provocation. These people didn't know what was happening outsite, and were suddenly attacked by the police with a watercanon.
There is no justification for that. This was pure agression.
