street theater in Thessaloniki as part of the actions against E.U summit
Street Theater in Thessaloniki. The theater ended at 4:45.In the theater there were 60 anarchists and antiauthoritarians, as well as passers-by. The theater action followed the route: theater school<which is under occupation of the antiauthority group <enemy of the interior>, navarinou square, tsimiski, paulou mela, agias sofias, theater school. The reaction of two police squads was more than brutal. The whole time during the moving theater the police was pushing, physically attacking and insulting the group. They where trying to restrict it to the pavement and off the street. But even when the group walked on a pedestrian path, around 30 riot policemen continued pushing. A little bit later another group of policemen appeared pushed and hit the demonstrators .
The police kept kicking and pushing until the demonstrators
got into the squated university.
Tomorrow there is demo against the e.u. summit
