All participants - estimated at 25,000 - have reached the Tour&Taxi Convergence centre, where the festive atmosphere marks the final stage of the successful manifestation

The D14 deemonstration 'Another Europe For Another World' has reached its final convergencee point at the Tour&Taxi centre in North Brussels. Indymedia sources estimate as many as 25,000 participants in todays dedmo, against the neo-liberal project in Europe, protesting the war and globalisation and demandnig a free and equal Europe and world for all. They demo is culminating in a musical and rhythmical mass-celebration;
The radical atmosphere in the demo was well-expressed, with large anarchist and communist blocs. This was manifest not only in the voices and banners, but also in the actions: the anartchist Black Bloc initiated action against property, smashing banks and police stations as symbols of capitalism and oppression. No local shops, civillians or other demonstrators were harmed. Police did not respond and the demo remained frree of tear-gas and water-cannon use.
The protesters also resisted the attempts by police provocateurs dressed in street clothes to escalate the situation farther than they wantedUndercover police were seen approaching Black Bloc participants, showing them the direction to the Laeken Palace and coaxing them to go there. No Black Bloc-ers responded to this attempt by the police. Legal teams were notified of the presence of provocateurs, and have expressed their anger at this since the town authorities have promised that there would not be undercover police in the demo.
This has been the first radical demo of its kind in Belgium for many years, and the work done by the social movements in the run-up to it has helped to build the anti-capitalist movelent in the country. Tomorrow to more major events are expected/ an anarchist demo and a street party which will converge in the afternoon.
