Christophe Callewaert interviewed Toon Danhieux, militant from Belgian union LBC-ACV who's at the demo.

At the end of november the LBC held its 4-yearly congress. At that time 600 militanten voted a motion to appeal the LBC to support D14. We think that by their orientation the ACV missed an opportunity. They've been complaining for years how hard it is to get in touch with young people . And if there is a massmovement of young people that occupies itself with social-economic issues, the ACV won't participate. We regret it very hard that the unons organised a demo on their own because they won't have anything to do with the so called 'stonetrowers'.
With our motion and our presence here we want to give a strong signal to the head of the ACV.
We partcipate with some 100 members of the LBC and demonstrate together with the workers of Sabena.
