Volgens ooggetuigen zijn er zeker 25.000 demonstranten aanwezig in de straten van Brussel.
De politie spreekt over zo`n 12.500 betogers.
De betoging heeft een radicaal anti-kapitalistisch karakter.

12 000 is onmogelijk, 25 000 is het minimum...

Normally I don't give a shit about the size of the crowd in a demo. But I've been in many demos, and I'm sure that the amount of people the D14 was up to 40.000 or even 50.000. The press is in a clear estrategy of hiding the good health of the global movement after Genova (nor them neither us expected that) and I reckon the alternative media was too much influencied by their souspitously low numbers . Moreover, in Barcelona demo against WB, we counted the crowd with a machine and it was from around 23.000 and I assure you that in Bruselles streets it was actually much more people. Maybe the mistake is due to the long snake of crowd that it was for many kilometres (so, nobody was able to see the whole demo at the same time). Anyway, is obviously not only a matter of quantity, not at all, but is one more of the infos showing the reality of the protest, and I think that in this case is wrong.
