German Activists Successfully Cross Border by Uri Gordon Friday December 14, 2001 at 10:09 AM |
About 100 activists who had gathered in Aachen, Germany, are now in Liege after having successfully crossed the border into Belgium.
The activists took part, over the past days, in a onference in Aachen - discussing the issues around today#s protests and planning their border-crossing. Speaking live to Radio Bruxxel, Aachen activist "Annas Papa" reported that there had been no police at the train station to prevent the activists from travelling, and only two or three bags were examined. The activists will take their bus to Brussels and join the d14 demo.
