Eco-activists who occupied the offices of the EU Chemical Lobby in Brussels this morning are arrested. Some 35 are arrested administratively. An unknown number (and among them foreigers, from the Netherlands) has been arrested judicially and put at the disposal of "le parquet" which is the enquiry-brach of the Belgian justice-system. Le Parquet has contacted the Foreigners Service who decided that the foreigners will be expulsed from the Belgian territory. More info later.

hi nico,
i thought this axion was about showing people how the perverse lobbysystem works in this fucked up 'democracy'. The only reason people are hearing the name CEFIC now is because there was NO violence concerned. First images, then message, that's how media works.
Another thing is that I envision activists showing in their words and deeds a certain honesty, dignitude en peace fulnes. How else can we show the 'ignorant' people that OUR dreamworld is attractive, and living, and...sexy.
But that's my opinion.
Now please explain yours.

i agree with sexy pinky when she says that we only can convince other people of our attractive and peaceful dreamworld if we are peaceful ourselves.
This means not that we have to let us beaten up like in Genua. I think you can defend yourself. But that's not the case now.

volgens het radionieuws van Radio 1 van 14 uur deze dag waren er 52 mensen administratief aangehouden - waarvan 32 ter beschikking gesteld van 't parket.
Er zijn in totaal al 147 mensen de grens gewezen afgelopen week.

If you are so keen on rioting and destroying. Why don't you join the (american)army and let the people in Brxxel have their peacefull protests.
