Last saturday, a big anti - war manifestation took place in Cologne / Germany. 8000 people went on street to protest against US - War in Afghanistan andpossible other attacks to other countries. It was organized by a local group out of the peace - movement. he demonstrators claimed for a direct stop of the attacks on Afghanistan and any preparation for other wars. Members of socialist and communist parties, peace groups, autonomous groups, people from the trade unions participated at the manifestation. There was also big group of PKK - orientied kurdish people. They claimed for peace in kurdistan and freedom for the PKK - chairman Abdualla Öcalan, who is arrested in turkey. Although there were some PKK - flags shown, the police did not intervent. (The PKK is forbidden in germany).

Samedi passé, une grande manifestation contre la guerre a eu lieu à Cologne en Allemagne. 8.000 personnes sont descendus dans les rues pour protester contre la guerre des Etats-Unis en Afghanistan et l'attaque possible sur d'autres régions. Les manifestants réclamaient l'arrêt immédiat des attaques sur l'Afghanistan et de toute préparation d'autres guerres. Des membres de partis socialistes et communistes, de mouvements pour la paix, de groupes autonomes et de syndicats ont participé à la manifestation. Il y avait aussi un grand groupe du PKK. Ils réclamaient la paix au Kurdistan et la libération d'Abdualla Ôcalan, arrêté en Allemagne. Malgré cette présence de membres du PKK, la police n'est pas intervenue. (Le PKK est interdit aux Etats-Unis).
