Blair's extraordinary speech
by Tim Friday November 23, 2001 at 09:04 PM

Now he wants to be president..

Most english commentators have said that Blair's latest outburst was to pave the way for UK to join the euro. This link to the BBC (Blair's Broadcasting Corporation) points out that many europeans cannot believe he really said that. However try reading his speech while bearing in mind that the little shit would like to be president of europe and suddenly it all makes a lot more sense. All those selfish remarks about getting the best deal. And it is an appointed position not an elected one which, as we all know from the so called 'reform' of the house of lords is just what Blair wants, presumably because he knows he could never win a fair election.
