They threatened to rape the girls with billy clubs.

... A German woman who was arrested said that people were forced to scream Viva il Duce [long live the Italian Fascist dictator Mussolini of the 1920s-40s]. A free lance photographer from Rome, Alfonso De Munno, tells he was thrown into a cell, while his foot was already broken. That he has seen how detainees were dragged away by their hair, that Mobile Brigade police extinguished cigarettes on the bodies of arrested people, that officers of the prison police put on black gloves and beat up arrested people for hours and hours. The Mobile Brigade had a speaking-chorus (rhyming in Italian): "Uno due tre, viva Pinochet ... [One, two, three, long live Pinochet. Four, five, six [sei], death to the [ebrei] Jews. Seven, eight, nine, we don't worry about a nigger."] Note: Italian police is often violent against African immigrants, arriving in Italy through ports like Genoa.
