On the 26th of May, the Arab European League – Al Rabita- will be organizing it's first ARAB MARCH in Brussels. The March represents a statement made by Arabs living in Europe that they conceive themselves as one community that Europe should take into consideration. It is a march for all the values that Al Rabita stands for, with more specific themes every year putting the emphasis upon a particular issue or case.

The choice of the date (the first Saturday after the 25th of May) refers to the victory of the resistance in Lebanon against the Israeli invaders. This day represents a turning point in modern Arab history, the Arab people has struggled for 18 years against occupation and succeeded in defeating the fascist Israeli enemy showing its ability to plan, structure and fight a modern popular liberation war, and above all its ability to persist with it until the final victory. The symbolism and the example this event withholds are crucial for the future of our Arab nation, and of our community.

We want this March to become a yearly tradition and to grow from a limited local initiative to a European concept.

This years March is dedicated to support the struggle of our Arab people in Palestine against the occupation and the daily suffering and crimes committed by the fascist Israeli army.

The message that we will be giving is that we wil NEVER FORGET the innocent people, men women and children who were assassinated by the Israeli war criminals. We will NEVER FORGET the victims of the massacres from Deir Yassin till this day. We will NEVER FORGET Sabra and Chatila, Qana and the criminal bombing of Beirut. We will NEVER FORGET every single child or baby that the Israelis killed in their dirty war against our people. WE WILL NEVER FORGET UNTIL JUSTICE IS DONE AND ISRAELI WAR CRIMINALS ARE PUT TO TRIAL.

MARCH FOR YOUR PEOPLE AND FOR JUSTICE
BE THERE!!

protestation.
