Supporters gathered at the Mexican embassy in Hyde Park to listen to speeches and music and later on campaigners occupied Niketown in London's busy West End shopping area. Aggressive security guards
attempted to stop the occupation but campaigners were able to unfurl banners while making impromtu speeches to shoppers and fellow-campaigners denouncing the inhuman working conditions enforced by the Sportwear manufacturer.
