The OAS General Assembly in Windsor, June 3-6 is only the begining of 10 months of planning for the Summit of the Americas in Quebec City, Canada on April 20-22, 2001. At the Summit, the Free Trade Agreement of the Americas will be tabled. The FTAA, a hemispheric wide trade regime that will further reduce labour and environmental regulations.
