The Media has reported over the last couple of days the death of the first US soldier in combat. Since the Americans have now been operating in Afghanistan for over two months now, this official figure of one killed in action can mean one of two things: firstly that no American soldiers are on the ground in Afghanistan or secondly, that the US Government is attempting to cover up its losses in order not to panic the American public. To date, the number of US troops killed since the war began is around 500. This equates to approximately ten or so casualties per day, which is realisticin comparison to what the Russians suffered when they invaded Chechnya for the second time, in 1999. Details are given below, from authentic sources based inside Afghanistan. 72 troops were killed in the first botched raid near Kandahar. Their corpses remain in the mortuaries at Jacobabad Airbase, Pakistan. 88 troops have been killed in operations between Spin Boldak and Kandahar 50 troops were killed in operations near Kabul Airport 120 troops were killed in and around Kunduz 8 troops were killed in other operations inside Kabul itself, before the Taliban withdrew from it 40 troops were killed in battles around the Badaghis mountains 95 troops were killed in a raid on Zabul Hotel, near the Iranian border In other developments around the country, Kunar Province remains in control of Commander Jandad, who is pro-Taliban. Earlier this week, a number of Taliban Mujahideen were killed during US airstrikes close to the town of Takhta Pul on the highway between Kandahar and the Pakistani border. Another 160 of them who were captured, were executed in cold blood whilst being filmed by US troops. Obviously, the World does not raise an eyebrow at these 'human rights violations'. By Thursday, the Taliban had recaptured Takhta Pul after fierce hand-to-hand fighting. In Bamiyan province, a convoy of the Shiite Hizb-i-Wahdah faction was ambushed and destroyed by the Taliban. It has been confirmed that Turkish military advisors are assisting General Dostum. Rumours regarding the killing of Al-Qaida spokesman Sheikh Sulaiman Abu Ghaith are false. Likewise there has been no fighting between Foreign Mujahideen and the Taliban, they are together and united in their stand against the Crusaders and their allies. The Taliban have confirmed that their withdrawal from the cities was purely strategic in order to protect the cities and the civilians from American bombardment. Dispelling rumours about the huge, number of Mujahideen who have been captured by the Crusaders and their allies, then it has been confirmed that this number does not exceed seven. Otherwise, the morale of the Taliban and the Foreign Mujahideen remains very high and they are relying on Allah firstly, then the supplications of their Muslim brothers and sisters around the World to make supplications for them, by name. The Arabs from amongst the ranks of the Foreign Mujahideen have confirmed that they hold in their possession a significant number of American and British corpses and prisoners. As mentioned earlier, the American and British Governments do not publicise this news for fear of a backlash in their public opinion and for fear of decreasing the morale of their soldiers who are still alive. There is a video cassette showing these captured American prisoners together with their names and ranks. Kandahar Airport and Kandahar city remain firmly in control of the Taliban. American bombardment in and around Kandahar these last few days has killed over 500 civilians this week alone, in up to 150 daily sorties. Villages to the South and the West of Kandahar have been completely flattened and razed to the ground, killing even livestock. The Taliban leader, Mullah Muhammad Umar, has vowed to fight the Americans to the last breath as the war enters a different phase. Under orders from its American masters, the Pakistani Government has allowed Pushtun gangsters, drug barons and murderers to enter Afghanistan with weapons and attack Taliban positions in and around the Pak-Afghan border town of Spin Boldak. Fighting is still continuing there. Northern Alliance Foreign Minister Dr Abdullah Abdullah informed the Americans that Alliance forces are not able to attack Taliban positions in the South of the country yet. The Americans therefore decided to seek assistance from Iran, who opened its borders and airspace to American troops to enter Helmand Province. The Iranian armed forces accepted and US paratroopers descended in the Koumailk area of Helmand Province near the River Douistan. A group of Mujahideen from Baluchistan besieged them, killing 18 in the ensuing combat and wounding 46. The United States Air Force planes then took off from Pakistani airbases (where most of the combat sorties have taken off despite denials by the Pakistani Government) and attacked the Mujahideen, killing their commander and wounding and killing 40 more of the Mujahideen. Following this battle, the Americans decided to withdraw from the area altogether. The Mujahideen remain in control of Helmand Province. The Muslims are urged not to despair at the state of affairs in Afghanistan because Allah's will changes the tides of war. Some days are victorious for the Mujahideen, whilst other days are defeats. In the Soviet-Afghan war, the Soviets had captured all of Afghanistan in a matter of hours, but they left ten years later, humiliated and defeated. In the same way they invaded Chechnya but the Mujahideen there continue to kill dozens of them every day. Even if the Americans use weapons of mass destruction, which they already have in Kunduz, and the Taliban were to withdraw from every city in Afghanistan, the war would not be lost. A war is not lost by the outcome of a single battle. The Mujahideen will continue to fight with the weapons in their hands and their faith in Allah, for Victory comes only from Him. Allah always helps His righteous servants, even if after a while. Allah is certainly able to assist those who fight for Him as He is the Powerful, the Strong. The Muslims are encouraged once more to put their foreheads on the ground and weep their tears begging Allah to give victory to the Mujahideen and destroy the oppressors and tyrants who kill without pity, women, children, the old, the sick and even animals. This importance of this point cannot be stressed enough. The Media has reported over the last couple of days the death of the first US soldier in combat.
