by E.Qualizer Wednesday, Nov. 02, 2005 at 10:02 PM

Such a Shame - Doc Jazz

Lyrics:

Its a Shame
Such a Shame

He was just an average man
Looking for a brighter day
He tried so hard to do everything right
But things just wouldn't go his way

He took his chance and went out one day
Just to meet his fiance
He didnt know that his luck had turned
they took him in a blizzard raid

The world we live in is so unfair
Some people never even get a chance
While others get to go everywhere
When they call you illegal there's no way to advance
But it's a shame, such a shame
Civilization is just a name

Caught like a villain he sat in his cell
Trying to accept his fate
He promised her he would do his best
But it turned out to be too late

A fire burned down his prison cell
And he would never breathe again
Eleven souls in a living hell
How can this tragedy ever be explained?

The world we live in is so unfair
Some people never even get a chance
While others get to go everywhere
When they call you illegal there's no way to advance
But it's a shame, such a shame
Civilization is just a name
