To all Registered and Pre-Registered Participants,

NASYO Preparatory Committee for the International Conference on NO War and Aggression on Iraq convey its warmest compliments to all registered and pre-registered participants to its conference.

I WOULD BE GLAD IF YOU COULD INFORMED US IF YOU HAVE ALREADY OBTAINED YOUR IRAQI VISA. KINDLY SEND US YOUR TRAVEL ITINENARY AT YOUR EARLIEST CONVENIENT.

I would like to update you with the following:

1. The targets to have around 200 participants from around the world have gone beyond our expectation. At this moment, we have pre-registered some 1000 participants. A very large numbers of European delegates have been registered and more are asking for participation. Actually, we are also registering a large numbers of participants from USA and Australia . Upon the pressing request of the European delegates to have a peace marathon, NASYO has no choice than to include such rally in the programs. We are therefore requesting all those attending our conference to bring their national costumes/dresses as well as their national flags.

2. Due to unexpected high numbers of participants, we are obliged also to book the entire rooms at Sheraton hotel. Those who are confirming their participation late, they will have to proceed to Sheraton hotel which is in front of Palestine Hotel for registration.

3. Following the satisfaction of UN arms Inspectors, Dr. Blix and Dr. Al-Baradhein on their last visit to Iraq and with the total cooperation of Iraqi Governments in implanting the UN Security Council resolutions are clearing the clouds of US war over Iraq . With this latest development, more foreign delegates are asking for registration. Those who have not yet reconfirmed their participation are kindly requested to do so at their earliest possible.

4. Visit to various Iraqi historical places will start as from 17 February 2003 .

5. The Iraqi Youth and Students organizations will organize regular cultural and artistic nights for the attention of all foreign delegates.

Friendly yours,

N.Bossoondyal,

NASYO Head of Foreign Affairs and Conference Organizing Committee
