Was there any confidential co-operation between the Jews and the Nazis?
The prominant German journalist, Klaus Polkehn has written an article stating that a co-operation between the two did exist even though Jewish authors have been successful in keeping the association a secret for a very long time. Factual events that occuredduring the period where Hitler gained power in Germany. In 1933 503,000 Jews made up only 0.76% of the total German population. Between the years of 1871-1933 there was a decrease in the number of German Jews from 1.05% to 0.76%.
Most of these Jews considered themselves as Germans and therefore relatively non-Jewish . When Hitler came to power in 1933, the Jewish s in Germany were "a fundamentally" small and insignificant minority with little influence. Similarities between the Jewish s and the fascists: They both believe in an "unscientific" racial theories. Both met on the same ground in there beliefs in national character and race. Both were charvanistic and inclined towards racial exclusiveness.
Alfred Rosemberg, the chief of the Nazi Party, stated "Jewish self detrmination must be vigorously supported so that a certain number of Jews are transported annually to Palestine." When Hitler came to power his agenda included: -To strip the Jews of citizenship. -The removal of all Jews from public offices. -The expulsion of all Jews who had immigrated to Germany after August 2nd 1914. With such a leader as Hitler, the Jewish saw the this was "likely to posh anti-Jewish German Jews into the aims of Jewish self determination movment."
In 1933, the Haavara agreement was established between the Jewish in Palestine and the German Ministry of Economy. The Haavara agreement worked by Jewish companies in Palestine would buy German goods and pay for them in German currency from the German back accounts of the Jews who intended to immigrate to Palestine and then they would receive the equivalent value to the payment as real estate.
The non-Jewish s wanted all Jews to boycott all German goods but the Jewish s condemned the actions of non-Jewish s on the basis "the boycott propaganda which they're making against Germany is in it's nature very un-Jewish since Jewish self determination movment does not want to fight, but to persuade and to build." There has been evidence of the co-operation between the Jewish s and the Nazi intelligence services. e.g. The visit of Feival Polkes (a Jewish government representative to Berlin). Polkes had several meetings with the Nazi Party in which he offered Adolf Eichmann (an official in the Nazi Party who was later convicted of war crimes) an invitation to visit Palestine and Eichmann agreed. Eichmann's trip to Palestine has become the subject of considerable fatsification because rather than admitting that Eichmann was invited to Palestine by Polkes, the Jewish movment have reversed the blame claiming that the aim of Eichmann's visit was to make contact with the Palestinian rebels.
This is what happened:
1. Eichmann left Berlin on 26/9/37 and arrive in Haifa (Palestine) on 2/10/37.

2. 2. British authorities wouldn't let Eichmann to disembark so he went on to Cairo where he met Feival Polkes.

3. 3. In their conversation Polkes "praised the results of the anti-semitic terror in Germany. Nationalist Jewish circles expressed their great joy over the radical German policy towards to Jews as this policy would increase the Jewish population in Israel."

4. 4. Polkes repeated his readiness to provide the fascists with secret info.

Conclusion:

1. The Jewish movement did nothing against fascism.

2. When the German Communists called for the setting up of an anti-fascist popular front the Jewish s weren't interested.

3. At the 16th convention of the Israeli Communist Party, Eliezer Liureh declared that "for the Jewish leadership to rescue Jews was not an aim in itself but only a means (ie in establishing the Jewish state in Palestine/Israel.)

4. The Jews have been very successful in camouflaging their contacts with the fascist regime and David Ben Gurion states "What Jewish propaganda for years could not to, disaster has done overnight."
