Here's an introduction to their collective:
We are a non-profit organization composed of more than a hundred video and cinema kamikazes from the province of Quebec (Canada). Three years ago, we created Kino'00, a festive event where freedom-craving film-makers (called kinoïtes) and their wild and eclectic audience of more than 500 people meet each month for an unpredictable (and free) evening of video shorts. Documentaries, essays, shorts on current events, art films and animations, our works are created in a spirit of total freedom of content. There is only one rule to obey to make movies in Kino'00 : "Do well with nothing, do great with little, and do it right now !".
You can find more about this project on their web-site: http://www.kino00.com or at info@kino00.com
This is auto-gestion in the "movie field" and seems to be pretty interesting. Some of their creations are going to be projected saturday 24th november at "Le nova" in Brussels. It starts at 8 Pm. So if you're interested.. You know what to do...
Take care
