Ondersteun met de handtekening van Uw organisatie het festival/demonstratie tegen de NAVO-conferentie in Ottawa, Canada, op 6 october a.s.!
Updated list: 74 NGOs have now endorsed the No to NATO: Festival of Creative NonViolence
As of August 26, the Coalition to Oppose the Arms Trade
(COAT) has received over 70 NGO endorsements for our No to NATO: Festival of
Creative NonViolence, to be held in Ottawa on October 6.
Some of these are large national organizations (like the CAW, the Canadian Federation of Students, the Council of Canadians, NDP-Canada and NUPGE), while others are regional or local. About 20 are from outside Canada. All are welcome. The more the merrier!
PLEASE help us to build even more support for this
initiative by circulating our request to any groups that you believe may
be interested in endorsing the festival. The two main purposes of the
festival are summarized <http://www.flora.org/coat/forum/216> A copy
of our "call to endorse" the festival can be found at
<http://www.flora.org/coat/forum/205>
We will list all endorsing organizations in written
materials for the event, in COAT's quarterly magazine (Press for
Conversion!), our "no_to_nato" list serve and the COAT website
<http://www.ncf.ca/coat> Our website will eventually include contact information, web
links and a 30 word description of each organization.
