We picked the following out of much material we have received from Yugoslavia.

The first piece, Milosevic's speech on Yugoslav TV Monday night, is most interesting. The "Democratic" opposition attacked it as 'desperate' and 'threatening.' We found it statesmanlike and accurate.

The report on the Yugoslav Constitutional Court hearing is remarkable. While Western news sources reported on what was decided at the Court, Tanjug points out that the Court decided nothing! It merely held public hearings and will not publish a decision for a day or two. Is 'Reuters' writing prophecy or fiction?

The 'Statement of the Yugoslav Election Commission' is also worth reading, both for what it says about the situation, and for an understanding of how the Yugoslav government operates. Contrary to the "lawless dictator" image we get in the Western media, in fact the Yugoslavs are dedicated to law and proper procedure, perhaps more than in the West
