Picnickers are being encouraged to bring 'dud' joints filled with legal smoking mmixtures in protest at the ridiculous response of the police to last years picnic. Be aware that there is likely to be a police presence this year so the more dud joints there are the more confusing it will be for them.

Video activists in conjunction with Undercurrents will be filming the police operation in order to monitor the slightest intimidation or bullying by the boys in blue as occurred last year. Smokey Bears picnic 2000 Southsea Common (Portsmouth) 13th August @ 2pm sharp
